OPEN WINDOWS is a simple expression of Lemon Verbena nothing added, nothing complicated. Made from 100% organic Lemon Verbena leaves, it creates a light and aromatic infusion with a fresh herbal character and a clean, delicate finish. Why Lemon Verbena? Lemon Verbena has a long tradition of use as a herbal infusion.
It is naturally caffeine free and contains naturally occurring plant compounds, including polyphenols with antioxidant activity. Traditionally, Lemon Verbena tea has been enjoyed: after meals as a gentle herbal digestive as part of a relaxing evening ritual as a naturally caffeine-free alternative to traditional tea for its naturally occurring antioxidant plant compounds Ingredients: 100% Organic Lemon Verbena Leaves Caffeine: Caffeine Free Size: 25g Loose Leaf Packed in: Hunter Valley, NSW, Australia A little brightness.
A little breathing room. Like opening a window after the rain. A gentle pause after the storm. Traditional uses are provided for general information only and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition.
It is a tea to make slowly: verbena rewards a minute of attention, and the difference between a rushed cup and a considered one is easy to taste.

What is inside the verbena
This single-ingredient infusion is built on 100% organic lemon verbena leaves. Nothing else goes in: no flavourings, no sweeteners, no fillers. That short list is the reason the cup tastes clean rather than muddled, and why the aroma stays legible even when you brew it strong.
You receive 25 g of loose leaf. Leaf is packed whole rather than crushed, so it keeps its oils far longer and gives you room to adjust the strength – a heaped spoon for a mug, a light one for a delicate cup.
How to brew the verbena
Use freshly boiled water and let it sit for a moment – around 95 C is a sensible starting point for a herbal infusion, where boiling water can flatten the top notes. One teaspoon of leaf per cup, five to seven minutes, covered while it steeps to keep the aromatic oils in the cup rather than in the kitchen.
If the first cup tastes thin, the answer is usually more leaf rather than more time; if it tastes heavy or bitter, take a minute off the clock. The blend is forgiving enough to drink without milk, and it holds up well over ice – brew it double strength, cool it, then pour over a full glass.
When to drink the verbena
Naturally caffeine free, so it does not cost you sleep. That makes it a reasonable choice for the last cup of the day, for a slow afternoon when you want something warming without the lift of caffeine, or for anyone who avoids caffeine for medical reasons and still wants a drink with some character.
It is also a good tea to keep at a desk or in a travel bag: 25 g of loose leaf is enough for several cups, and the preparation needs nothing more than a cup and a strainer.

Storage
Keep the leaf in the sealed pouch, away from light and heat, and squeeze the air out before closing it. Whole leaf keeps its aroma for months this way; if you transfer it to a tin, use one that blocks light. Do not store it beside the kettle or the stove – warmth is what turns a fresh herbal blend flat.
